Do not deprive yourself of maternity

You are a woman, it means that your great responsibility is procreation. According to all the mothers – the emergence of the baby is the most vivid and memorable event in their lives. If you smoke, you may deprive yourself of this. Firstly, you may find it difficult to become pregnant. And secondly, if this happens, you should keep, carry and give birth to this child. Smoking during pregnancy you are ruining yourself and your unborn child. As a result, studies have shown that polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) contained in tobacco smoke, lead to ovum death. Doctors equate smoking in girls with the removal of one ovary. Women may also have disruption of the menstrual cycle, and decreased ability to conception. The most common complication caused by smoking, is the premature termination of pregnancy – up to 36 weeks. It happens 2 times more often in smoking women. They also have higher percentage of stillbirth or birth of a child with various pathologies or external defects.
Spontaneous abortion (miscarriage) is much more likely in smokers than in nonsmoking women (30-60%). According to statistics, the cases of miscarriages in smoking women are up to 37%, in nonsmoking is only 7%. For example in the U.S. it was found out that 14% of preterm births are associated with smoking during pregnancy. You wore a piece of life beneath your heart for 9 months, a piece of yourself and your loved one.
But you continued to smoke during pregnancy. The result is the birth of a stillborn child. It is awful. Think whether you want such an outcome. I am sure that your answer will be “never.” A premature separation of placenta, or bleeding may cause the stillbirth. This usually occurs because of low location of the placenta, which begins to form on-site attachment of a fertilized egg in the uterine wall. Smoking during pregnancy increases the level of neonatal death (in utero) of the children of women who smoked 20 cigarettes a day by 20%, and 35% – in smokers over 20 cigarettes. Often girls who smoke give birth to preterm infants. They weight less than 2500 grams, and it is not enough. Total weight of these children is 150-350 grams less than in children of non-smoking girls. It is significant that smoking before pregnancy affects the body weight of newborn. It turns out that tobacco smoke affects the weight of the placenta, reducing it to 56 grams. This can lead to changes in the parameters of the fetus (body length, head and chest circumference). Thereby, dear girls and women, you must understand the consequences created by your own hands. Do you want to become a mother of healthy baby? Do not smoke!
